Digital Anarchism

World is a fuck. Corporations want your soul. Use Linux.

hi. hello.

are you tired of large corporations forcing you into their systems that barely even work most of the time? are you tired of constant forced updates that don't add anything or even make your software slower and worse? are you maybe tired of getting your data sold to other corporations to analyze you and manipulate you into viewing content you don't want to see? are you willing to give a chance to something new?

it's time we look at alternatives.

this website serves as a blog of my personal experience with carving my own software experience. building and hacking[*][*] modifying software to your personal liking, not malicious hacking software has never been more easy, and as such many smaller developers have begun developing open-source alternatives to software we all use every day.
these open source alternatives often provide much more efficient and moral solutions, while remaining completely free to use (mostly); however, finding and using them sometimes is a bit more difficult, which is why i intend on writing guides to help YOU have an easier smoother experience as well as give you as much info as possible on the pros and cons

they need our support!

maintaining and building an alternative to, say, twitter, is much harder if you are a team of 4 than a fortune 500 company, and also increasingly expensive! a lot of these projects fail simply due to lack of awareness, adoption and support. so what can we do? turns out: a lot! simply sharing these tools within your social circles and maybe throwing a buck or two to their donation boxes is, often times, enough. there is always someone among your friends that will throw a buck or two their way in donations, or fix a bug on their github, right now one of the largest issues is lack of awareness that these alternatives even exist and that they need support.
